Sales of new diesel and petrol cars and vans to be banned in Britain from 2040!

UK Ban

In recent news and following on from France’s commitment to take polluting vehicles off the road by 2040, Britain has also followed suit by banning the sales of all new diesel and petrol cars and vans by 2040. The final plan is due by the end of July.

Cineramageddon

This years’ Glastonbury featured ‘Cineramageddon’ – an interesting use of old vehicles. Along with the usual music events, a massive outdoor cinema similar to the American drive-in movie theatre was installed with one hundred 1960s American and Cuban cars including some ‘post-apocalyptic style contraptions’ and a jet for festival-goers to enjoy watching movies in these amazing wrecks of vehicles!
