UK Auto Recyclers Road Trip to the ARA Convention - Another opportunity

ARA road trip
This year's road trip will be less driving and more doing! This is a great opportunity to find ways to develop your business.

Following the success of the last two road trips a further opportunity for UK Auto Recyclers to visit yards across Dallas before joining global auto recyclers for the 74th ARA Convention and Expo is being planned for October/November this year.

In a change to previous years, this year there will be less time spent driving with the visit based in Dallas for the whole week. The preliminary itinery for the week is:

Sunday 29 October Meet at Best Western Plus Addison Galleria Hotel TX - our base until Wednesday

Monday 30 October Yard Tours, including Copart and Hi-Way Auto Parts

Tuesday 31 October Yard Tours including LKQ, Pick-n-Pull and visit to - DFW Elite Toy Museum

Wednesday 1 November Free Time Transfer to ARA Hotels for the ARA Convention Networking Night @ Bishops & Crashed Toys

Thursday 2 NovemberThursday 2 November Dallas - convention seminars and exposition

Friday 3 November Dallas - convention seminars, exposition and Awards Dinner.

Saturday 4 November Dallas - convention seminars, exposition, Texas Time @ American Auto Salvage and Stockyards

Sunday 5 November AAA Texas 500 Nascar Race

this is your opportuntity to see first hand how US recyclers operate, the standards they work to, sales operations, vehicle storage, dismantling, parts distribution and more; meet US auto recyclers in their businesses and network with a select group of UK auto recyclers on the trip.

You will also learn from the best speakers, trainers and developers at the ARA Convention. Browse the Exposition, and network with fellow auto recyclers from around the world.

When booking flights I suggest that you schedule to arrive in Dallas on Sunday 29 October 2017 and depart either Sunday 5 November or Monday 6 November if you intend to stay for the NASCAR race.

You can find out more about the convention here and if you would like to know more, then email the organiser, Andy Latham here.
